My name is Stuart W. Smeltzer

These poems are the way I  found my way back to the Heavenly Father!

I thank the Heavenly Father every day for all he has done for me in my life.

I know it is by his grace I’m here today and I would never be what I am today without him leading a path of righteousness.

I thank him every day that I wake up for a new day and for a chance to give all I have and am to him.

I’d like to thank the Heavenly Father above anyone on earth for my work, for he gave me the words to write so I could share them with others.

I have written this book so that others can find a way to have a closer walk with him and to help them in the same way he has helped me be who I am today.

I want to thank my mother Patsy Ann Crow for all she has taught me in my life.

For without her, I have no clue what my life would have been like.

My father Charles Eugene Smeltzer who helped me learn as a child about the Heavenly Father.

 My dad was a preacher.

I did not always see things the way he did, but it was his teaching that helped me become the man I am today.

I’d also like to thank the people in my life who has given me the help to put this book together.

Some gave money for me to use the computer,

I didn’t have one when I began writing the poetry book. Others were just there to give me the support I needed to keep me going and not to give up, to encourage me to put all I had into this and not let anyone try to tell me it wouldn’t be done, it is a waste of my time to do all this work because I’m not just doing it for me, I’m doing it for the Heavenly Father above.

So thank you,

My beloved sisters

Jerry Burdick and Wanda Potts

Also to My pastors who helped me out with the fiancés to do my work at the library.

 Norm and Kate Pussihl

I would like to say thank you to  a very good and close friend,

Pat Woadsworth, she is like a mom to me and I love her very much!

I am now working for a man who is one of the best men I've met in Ventura

The owner and operator of

Reliable Auto Sales

in Ventura CA.

To all the employees at Star Bucks Coffee Shop in Ventura County California for letting me use the shop to sit in and work.

When I wrote the poems, I was homeless, they helped me out sometimes just with water, but I was never asked to leave which I appreciate.

And many other very special friends,

Darlene Miller, Paul Montgomery and Robert West
